Calm, regulation & performance
Breathwork & Ice Bath
Breathe and look from within
Breathing is the most direct tool we have for regulating our state. In Deep Performance Studio, we use specific forms of breathwork to:
- Create mental calm and clarity
- Prepare for performance and recover from it
- Get in touch with the body and feel yourself more clearly
- Navigate intensity with presence rather than reaction
Whether used as a standalone session or as part of a process, breathwork creates a space to land – and perform from there.
Ice bath – strengthen presence when it matters
Ice baths are not about cold. They are about meeting resistance with presence and calm.
Through controlled cold exposure, you train:
- To stay in the uncomfortable without panic
- To activate your mental resilience and emotional stability
- To connect with your body and strengthen your focus
- To reset the nervous system and restore balance
It’s a simple but deeply transformative practice. And it works – every time.
Three Layers – One Approach
Breathwork and ice baths are not just “biohacks.” They are embedded in the Deep Performance Studio approach, where we work with:
Cognitive layer
Mental clarity and decision-making power.
Breathwork and cold training help create overview, focus and calm in stressful situations. You learn to maintain overview, even when it’s stormy.
Emotional layer
Regulation and contact.
Emotions cannot be controlled, but they can be regulated. Through the breath and the intensity of the cold, you learn to face emotions without being overwhelmed.
Somatic layer
Bodily intelligence and grounding.
The body carries knowledge and signals that we often ignore. In working with cold and breathing, we create direct access to the intelligence that the body already has.
